I think axis #5 has something to do with position in cockpit. Your changes to the file were perfect except for when I took the Cirrus Vision Jet for a spin I was viewing the back of the pilot's seat. So I amended the setting for axis#5 from '75' to '0' and that corrected that issue. Thanks for putting us on the right track!

Yes, Axis 5 is 'Head position sensitivity'

I managed to get it working with Steam edition after reading comments and hunting around a bit in some subdirectories under the Steam userdata folder. Thanks for the tip. Nice to have Tobii working again.

Hey Jonathan, thanks for the video.

Looks like they've made a change as I don't have a SystemAppData folder in my install location. shame, cos its gotta be somewhere, I just can't find the file controlling the axis.

If you go look in the comments on the youtube video, some Steam users have found the folder.

For Steam edition. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<your_user_ID>\2537590\remote\inputprofile_xxxxxxxxxx

If you look at Tobii settings and correlate with your settings, it seems like: Axis 0 is 'Eye vs Head', Axis 1 is 'Eye tracking responsiveness', Axis 2 is 'Pitch & Yaw sensitivity', Axis 3 is 'Center stabilization', Axis 4 is 'Roll sensitivity', 'Axis 5 is 'Head position sensitivity' and Axis 6 is 'Head Auto center' (on/off)

Hi, my camera is not properly calibrated. When I switch to first-person view, I can still see my character's hair, and in cockpit view, the camera seems too wide/expanded. How can I fix this?

Press alt+7 to toggle the view on/off, and alt+8 to reset its position.

Thanks a lot! Do you know how I can zoom out the cockpit view?

Hello.

Very well made videos. Short, concise and easy to follow. Thanks for that.

I followed the path you indicated meticulously.

But now I have the problem that the file in which my new "My Custom Tobii Profile" is, and the parameters should be exchanged with your template, looks different from yours. Nowhere in the file are there axes whose parameters could be changed. Not a chance. The whole file doesn't even contain the word Axis (Achse on German).

Why is that?

I was also looking for Martin's tobii.xml. No success.

I use the store version of the FS.

Thanks for your Effort.

It may be that either your are not listing the files in reverse date order, or you are unintentionally changing something else - meaning it's not at the top of the list.

Thank you for the videos and walkthrough guide. I am also stacked with the XML file. I have the MS Store version updated to 1.2.8.0. I find the file I am supposed to edit. However in my case it is a binary file, not XML. I've tried to open with multiple programs, notepad, vscode, cursor, but no luck. I keeps opening as binary.

Are you aware of any solution or workaround? Can you share your xml file to try to replace?

Many thanks

Juan

The steam version is different - I mentioned it in the blog post - I don't have the Steam version, so can't help with that.

The Steam profiles on my computer could be found at "(Wherever you installed the Steam-launcher)\Steam\userdata\26211088(this could be my user number, could be different for you)\2537590\remote\" Sorted by date and edited the most recent "inputprofile" file. In my case it was called "inputprofile_1267470464" for my custom tobii profile. Hope this helps!
