Startup procedures for the Carenado aircraft now available in Flight Simulator 2024
I’ve been busy! I’ve finally gotten around to writing up start procedures for all of the Carenado aircraft - originally available for Flight Simulator 2020 - now available in Flight Simulator 2024 if you had previously purchased them in the 2020 marketplace.
It’s worth noting that the key bindings for these aircraft may be different than their original incarnations in Flight Simulator 2020. In each case, I have checked and tested the procedures. In many cases, these are brand new procedures - I have not covered many of the Carenado aircraft in 2020.
Enabling legacy aircraft
To enable legacy aircraft, you need to have previously owned them in Flight Simulator 2020 - after which you can follow these steps:
Visit the Marketplace (from the main menu)
Select “My Library” (top of the screen)
Expand “Creators” (left gallery)
Select the developer (left gallery)
Select the appropriate aircraft from the list (right side)
Select “Enable” at the bottom of the screen
After a few seconds the aircraft will be available for free flights!
