Let's do this again! Test flying the SkySim McDonnell Douglas DC-9 in Flight Simulator 2024

After an uninentionally difficult first flight earlier, I think we now know enough to fly the aircraft! Should be fun :)

… and it WAS fun - including the engine failure (with cross feed on), and subsequent successful in-air re-start (not using the RAM air turbine though, which doesn’t appear to work? - your mileage may vary).

I like this aeroplane - but mainly because it’s so difficult :) I know… that’s not a good reason to like an aeroplane. The sounds are bad, the graphics are so-so, and the flight model is a little strange at times, but it’s good fun. Quite expensive though.
