JustFlight RJ startup procedures updated
After a couple of test flights, I've updated the RJ startup procedures - fixing a few minor issues, including more information about IRS alignment, and sequencing of operations.
There's an interesting trick hidden in the IRS system to provide quicker alignment (the real thing can take up to 15 minutes).
The FMS documentation for the RJ talks about TTN (time to navigation) data being available in the FMS - I can only surmise that some pages of the FMS didn't make it into version 1.0 of the RJ series aircraft, but the description of the system was left in the documentation.
In testing, there's nothing to stop you switching the IRS selectors to NAV immediately (this is documented in the guide) - it will still eventually align, but accuracy will be degraded.
