While the COWS Diamond DA40 XLS comes with excellent documentation, I ended up cribbing from several places (including the real-world DA 40 checklist) to put together a comprehensive, and somewhat simplified guide to starting and configuring the aircraft for flight - walking through each step of the configuration journey with all the views, button presses, and switch throws described in a simple, accessible manner.
