First look at the Parallel 42 FreedomFox / Fox2 in Microsoft Flight Simulator

Today we take the Parallel 42 Fox2 for a flight in Microsoft Flight Simulator - taking off from the custom "campout" scenery that comes packaged with it. The Fox2 is based on Trent Palmer's real-world "FreedomFox" aircraft, which is also included in the package.

If you like STOL aircraft and bush flying, it's perhaps the best 3D model of any example in the simulator - although I wonder if the flight physics are quite there. That said, it's easy to fly, does what it's told, and doesn't surprise - which may be perfect for many.

It's not the Wilga - let's just say that much.
