First look at the Flight Sim Studios AG Boeing 727-200 Super in Flight Simulator 2024

Today we’re taking a first look at the Boeing 727-200 Super developed by Flight Sim Studios AG for Flight Simulator 2024. We’ll fly from Providence, Rhode Island to Pittsburgh.

To start the aircraft I’ll be follow an updated and revised functional procedure of my own design that steps through everything you need to do to prepare the aircraft for flight - you can get a copy from the URL below:

It was certainly an interesting flight - quite apart from running out of fuel mid-flight (which caused a quite hilarious recovery, and request for vectors from Pittsburgh approach), there’s a LOT to learn about the new GNS-XLS navigation computer in the 727-200 Super. I also need to go and re-learn about filling aircraft with fuel before setting off :)
