Definitive guide to starting the ATR 42/72-600 from cold and dark in Microsoft Flight Simulator
Following guidance finally being released on the official Microsoft Flight Simulator YouTube channel, we work through the real procedure that real pilots follow when preparing the aircraft for flight.
In concert with this I have corrected the written checklist I put together on launch day - which we can now use going forward with some confidence.

Note that I miss out ALL of the checks that real pilots perform to ensure systems are operating correctly. This is both to save time, and in realisation that we are in a simulator where the aircraft is pretty much perfect each time we sit in it.
